Quaking Aspen is a sparkly yellow gold watercolor paint. Compared to Karat, Quaking Aspen leans slightly browner.

DETAILS

Ingredients: Mica (mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide), distilled water, gum arabic, vegetable glycerin, & clove leaf oil.

Lightfastness: All of the above pigments have excellent lightfastness. I would not expect any fading, but I always recommend testing for lightfastness if you need to be certain of how a paint will perform.

Sizes:
-Quarter pan (~1 mL, 0.74x0.59x0.2 in.)
-Half pan (~2 mL, 0.74x0.62x0.35 in.)

Notes: Small air bubbles are totally normal in handmade watercolors. I overfill my pans to offset this.

Each pan has the paint's name written on the side. Individual pans don't come with magnets.

Mica paints are notoriously difficult to photograph, but I try to capture each color as accurately as possible. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.

Quaking Aspen is named for the tree species Populus tremuloides, which is native to Maine and much of North America.

SAFETY

My mica paints are nontoxic when used as intended, as an artist paint. They are not formulated for and have not been tested for any other purpose.

Watercolor pans are a choking hazard (and the colors/wrappers can make them look like candy), so keep them out of reach of young children and pets.
