Nor'easter is a deep, shimmery watercolor paint. It has a purple undertone and blue shimmer. Nor'easter reminds me of the color of shadows on snow, or the color of the sky right after the sun sets.

DETAILS

Ingredients: Mica (mica, titanium dioxide, tin oxide, manganese violet, ultramarine blue), distilled water, gum arabic, vegetable glycerin, & clove leaf oil.

Lightfastness: All of the Nor'easter pigments have excellent lightfastness. I would not expect any fading, but I always recommend testing for lightfastness if you need to be certain of how a paint will perform.

Sizes:
-Quarter pan (~1 mL, 0.74x0.59x0.2 in.)
-Half pan (~2 mL, 0.74x0.62x0.35 in.)

Notes: Small air bubbles are totally normal in handmade watercolors. I overfill my pans to offset this.

Each pan has the paint's name written on the side. Individual pans don't come with magnets.

Mica paints are notoriously difficult to photograph, but I try to capture each color as accurately as possible. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.

Nor'easter is named for the intense winter storms that impact the northeastern US.

SAFETY

My mica paints are nontoxic when used as intended, as an artist paint. They are not formulated for and have not been tested for any other purpose.

Watercolor pans are a choking hazard (and the colors/wrappers can make them look like candy), so keep them out of reach of young children and pets.
