Grackle - Mica Watercolor Paint

Grackle is a shimmery interference purple watercolor paint. Interference colors look off-white from some angles, and bright and glowy from others. They also look great on black watercolor paper, or mixed in/layered over dark watercolors.

DETAILS

Ingredients: Mica (mica, titanium dioxide, tin dioxide), distilled water, gum arabic, vegetable glycerin, & clove leaf oil.

Lightfastness: All of the Grackle pigments have excellent lightfastness. I would not expect any fading, but I always recommend testing for lightfastness if you need to be certain of how a paint will perform.

Sizes: 
-Quarter pan (~1 mL, 0.74x0.59x0.2 in.)
-Half pan (~2 mL, 0.74x0.62x0.35 in.)

Notes: Small air bubbles are totally normal in handmade watercolors. I overfill my pans to offset this.

Each pan has the paint's name written on the side. Individual pans don't come with magnets.

Mica paints are notoriously difficult to photograph, but I try to capture each color as accurately as possible. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.

SAFETY

My mica paints are nontoxic when used as intended, as an artist paint. They have not been formulated or tested for any other purpose.

Watercolor pans are small and colorful, making them a potential choking hazard. Be sure to keep them out of reach of young children or pets.
